Rochester's new re-roofing permit rule
Effective May 1, 2025, the City of Rochester requires a building permit and inspections for residential re-roofing, re-siding and window replacement — a requirement that previously applied only to commercial and multi-family properties. Repair King pulls the permit under our Minnesota contractor license (BC695228) and schedules the required sheathing, underlayment and final inspections.
