One of roofing’s most recognized voices. From emceeing Win The Storm and co-hosting with Roofing Insights to speaking on stages and inside companies across the country, Mike has spent years helping contractors and homeowners raise the bar.
Mike Holmes is the owner of Repair King, a Minnesota general contracting and restoration company helping homeowners and property owners with roofing, storm damage, exterior restoration, remodeling, and property repairs.
Mike entered the industry the old-fashioned way: knocking doors, meeting homeowners, and learning the business from the ground up. Before construction, Mike spent nearly a decade as a loan officer, helping people work through financial decisions that were often unfamiliar and complicated.

From canvassing he moved into sales, restoration, estimating, and project strategy, learning how every part of a project fits together. When circumstances changed for Repair King’s previous founder, Mike took the company in a new direction. Since 2015, he has been its sole owner.
Over the years, Mike realized the most important part of the business wasn’t simply replacing roofs or repairing buildings. It was solving problems for people.
Mike’s vision is to keep building Repair King into a trusted, resourceful home-service company where customers get straightforward answers, experienced guidance, and practical solutions, without unnecessary pressure.

Raised in Minnesota by way of New Jersey, Mike credits his approach to real-world experience, persistence, creativity, and connecting with people from all walks of life. Outside of work, being a father comes first.
