Who calls us

Is this for me, or only for big buildings?

Both. Most repair calls come from one of three places.

Property managers

The work-order list nobody gets to

Turnover punch lists, storm fixes, doors that won't latch, trim, siding and gutter patches. Send the list, we price it together.

Stores & commercial spaces

Fixtures, doors and anything customers see

Display cases, cabinet doors, wall panels, trim and hardware. Fixed safely, with as little disruption to your floor as we can manage.

Homeowners

The stuff that's been bugging you

The sagging door, the loose trim, the patch after a leak. No job too small to ask about.

Sagging display case door, fixed before it became an accident

Problem
A heavy hinged door on the store's candy display wall had dropped lower than the doors beside it. The store was worried it could come down on a customer.
What we did
Opened it up, reset the hinge side and hardware, and brought it back level with its neighbors.
Result
The door closes flush and lines up again, and the store can stop worrying about it.
A loose fixture over a customer's head is a liability, not a cosmetic issue. Small fix, big peace of mind.

Small jobs welcome

"Is it even worth calling for one little thing?"

Yes. And it's even better when you send the whole list. Small fixes cost more the longer they sit: a sagging door wears its hinges, a loose gutter pulls the fascia, a small leak turns into drywall and insulation.

How to get the best price:

  1. Snap a photo of each item.
  2. Write one line on what's wrong.
  3. Send it all at once, one visit covers more.
  4. Get one written price for the whole list.

Questions

Quick answers

Do you do small repairs, or only roofs?

We do small repairs too. Repair King is a licensed Minnesota contractor (BC695228), and property managers, stores and homeowners call us for doors, fixtures, trim, drywall patches, siding, gutters and leaks, not just roofs.

Is my job too small?

Ask anyway. If it's small, we'll often bundle it with other items on your list or at your property into one visit, so the trip is worth it for both of us.

How much does a small repair cost?

It depends on what's wrong, access, parts and how many items are on the list. We look first and give you a written price before any work starts.

Can you work in an open store or occupied building?

Usually, yes. We plan around your hours, keep the work area safe and clean up after. Tell us your quiet times when you book.

Do you work with property managers on multiple units?

Yes. Send us the list or the addresses. We walk the property, photograph what we find, and price it as one job. See our property managers page.

Can you fix damage from a storm or a leak?

Yes. We inspect, document it with dated photos and do the repairs. If you're filing an insurance claim, your insurer decides coverage; Minnesota law doesn't allow contractors to negotiate claims for you.
