Type a listing address and get the last hail at the home, roof age from permits, open permits and a tax snapshot in about 20 seconds, from Repair King, with our local contact info on it. Then one tap books a walk-around or pre-listing repair quote with Repair King.
Usually it's the roof. Run the report before you list (or before your buyer writes an offer) and you'll know what hit the house and when.
Six things you'd otherwise dig through four websites for. All from public records, all labeled with their source.
Every hail day within 1 mile on NOAA radar (7 years) and within 3 miles in NOAA spotter reports (since 2001), with size and distance.
We look for a reroof permit on the parcel. No permit? The report says so and tells you what to ask the seller.
Permits that were never finaled can hold up a closing. We flag them (Minneapolis and St. Paul today).
Year built, estimated market value, property tax, special assessments, last recorded sale. Hennepin adds a delinquent-tax flag.
The report comes from Repair King with our license, local office and phone on it, so it reads as "the contractor provided this." Save it as a PDF for the listing file.
Request a walk-around with us, pre-listing repair quotes (roof, siding, deck, paint), or text us right from the report.

A Truth-in-Sale of Housing evaluation is required before the home can be shown. Evaluators look at the roof structure and covering and roof venting.
A TISH report is required before marketing a single-family, duplex, condo or townhome, and must be available to buyers within 3 days of listing. Valid for one year.
Sellers must disclose material facts they know of that could significantly affect a buyer's use and enjoyment of the property (Minn. Stat. § 513.55). A documented roof inspection helps your seller answer roof questions accurately. We document; we don't give legal advice.

Our crew on a Twin Cities roofRecent 1-inch-plus hail days in the Twin Cities area (NOAA). If your listing is near one, a documented roof check before photos is the calm, confident move.
A lot of homes near here took hail on that date. Let's get the roof looked at and photographed now, so the buyer's inspector doesn't surprise us.
NOAA shows hail near this house. Before we're past the inspection period, let's have a roofer document the roof so you know what you're buying.
Storm list: NOAA Storm Prediction Center hail reports, 1″ or larger, last 365 days. Repair King inspects, documents and explains. The homeowner makes their own insurance decisions; we never promise outcomes and we are not public adjusters.
$99 down. We get paid when you close. We replace the roof now and the title company pays us from seller proceeds, as one routine payoff line on the settlement statement.
We meet you (or use the lockbox) and inspect the roof, siding, gutters, deck and exterior.
Photos of every slope and problem area, labeled, in a report you can share.
What to fix before listing, what can wait, and a written quote. No pressure.
We schedule around your listing date and photo shoot, then send completion photos.
We're building the tools agents asked for. Run a report today and you'll be first to get these.
A printable Repair King pre-listing packet: hail history, roof photos and repair list, ready to hand your seller.
Run it on a house your buyer loves before writing the offer, so the roof isn't a surprise at inspection.
A dated list of hail events near the address the seller can look at while filling out their disclosure.
Save your active listings. If hail crosses one, you get a text and a Repair King storm report.
Yes. Agents run it free, as often as they like. We hope you'll call us when a roof, siding, deck or paint job needs doing before a listing, but there's no obligation.
NOAA. We check NEXRAD radar hail signatures within 1 mile of the address for the last 7 years (NCEI Severe Weather Data Inventory) and NOAA Storm Prediction Center ground reports within 3 miles since 2001. Radar shows hail fell nearby, not that a roof is damaged. Only an inspection can confirm damage.
We look for a reroof permit on the parcel in city permit records (Minneapolis and St. Paul, last 10 years, with every open permit and its status). If there isn't one, the report says so and suggests asking the seller for receipts. Other cities don't publish permits as open data yet, so we pull them by hand on request.
Not yet. Mechanic's liens and judgments are recorded at the county recorder and Minnesota counties don't offer them as free data. Your title company's commitment is the right source. The report does show special assessments and, in Hennepin County, delinquent taxes.
We inspect, document and explain what we find, with photos. The homeowner decides what to do with their insurance company. We never promise claim outcomes and we don't act as a public adjuster.
Yes. Minneapolis requires a TISH evaluation before a home can be shown, and St. Paul requires one before a home is marketed. Evaluators look at the roof covering and structure, so a pre-listing roof check is smart timing.
Request a walk-around from the report or call (612) 354-7677. We work around listing dates and photo shoots.
