At Cokato's Dairy Queen we photographed hail dents in the blue metal coping in July 2023, then came back in 2024 for detailed flashing and coping work where the roof meets the stone and stucco walls.

Farm buildings count too. In September 2023 we inspected the long steel-roofed barns and feed bin area at a working hog farm southwest of town, then tore off and re-roofed the farmhouse on the same property.

When storms last hit Cokato
Western Wright County gets hail from the same summer storm lines that roll across Meeker County into the metro. NOAA storm reports put 1.75" hail near our Cokato job sites on June 16, 2025, and 1" hail on August 8, 2025. On a flat commercial roof, hail that size can crack the membrane and dent coping and rooftop units, and it's rarely visible from the parking lot.
